A young boy digs in the dirt and plants seeds. Time passes and the seeds grow into something amazing.
This board book will fit perfect in a little ones hands as they beg you to read it to them over and over again.
The story tells of a precious little boy and his garden. From hoeing and turning the soil to pulling weeds that keep popping up. Then he carefully adds seeds to each row he has prepared in nice mounds. He covers the seeds with soil then waters each row. Now he waits and watches for the first sprouts to appear. When he gets distracted in play away from his garden he happens to glance toward the garden and low and behold he sees rows of sprouts. The child eagerly tends his garden as it grows and blooms then eventually bears fruit.
The author providing poetic words and the illustrator in painting a picture come together to create this darling book of about a child and his garden growing and becoming fruitful.
This is a special book that not only teaches the child to be in touch with our earth but it also teaches them patience.
I highly recommend this book for a special child in your life. Show more

The Layered Garden: Design Lessons for Year-Round Beauty from Brandywine Cottage
What a beautiful book!
Brandywine Cottage is David Culp's beloved two-acre Pennsylvania garden where he mastered the design technique of layering — interplanting many different species in the same area so that as one plant passes its peak, another takes over. The result is a nonstop parade of color that begins with a tapestry of heirloom daffodils and hellebores in spring and ends with a jewel-like blend of Asian wildflowers at the onset of winter.
The Layered Garden shows you how to recreate Culp's majestic display. It starts with a basic lesson in layering — how to choose the correct plants by understanding how they grow and change throughout the seasons, how to design a layered garden, and how to maintain it. To illustrate how layering works, Culp takes you on a personal tour through each part of his celebrated garden: the woodland garden, the perennial border, the kitchen garden, the shrubbery, and the walled garden. The book culminates with a chapter dedicated to signature plants for all four seasons.
As practical as it is inspiring, The Layered Garden will provide you with expert information gleaned from decades of hard work and close observation. If you thought that a four-season garden was beyond your reach, this book will show you how to achieve that elusive, tantalizing goal.. Show more

Exploring Nature with baby

Babies are born primed to learn how the world of people and objects works. That is why they love exploring their outdoor surroundings. Every bug, animal, or bird that your baby sees is a brand-new experience — especially because babies spend so much time indoors. When at the park or in your yard, don't be surprised if your baby wants to touch a nice earthworm as she inspects the grass at the edge of her blanket. Many babies love to feel a caterpillar crawling on their arms. If your baby is toddlers, It's hard to talk them out to the beach, you can help them exploring the sea through Sea Dreams Soother.

Introducing your child to all aspects of nature will help her with language development, and will give her an appreciation for the needs of other creatures and a sense of pride at helping wildlife flourish. Enjoy these experiences together!
Baby stuffs and toys

Both
sides of this debate have valid points. A baby does indeed
learn
from the things she plays with, and the more things she has
access
to, the more she can learn. With this in mind, many parents
spend a fortune
buying toys; however, many toys hold a child’s
attention
for three or four days, only to be relegated to the bottom
of the
toybox or back of a shelf.
Babies
learn about their world by using all five of their senses:
sight,
hearing, taste, smell, and touch. Toys engage and refine
these
senses by:
parts
• Helping
your baby figure out how things work
• Showing
your baby how he can control things in his world
•
Teaching your baby new ideas
•
Building your baby’s muscle control, coordination, and strength
•
Teaching your baby how to use his imagination
• Showing
your baby how to solve simple problems
• Helping
your baby learn how to play by himself
• Setting
the foundation for learning how to share and cooperate
with
others
Experts
agree that babies need a variety of toys to enrich their
lives and
encourage learning. While your baby can learn from
expensive
store-bought toys, she can also learn from a crumpled
piece of
paper, a set of measuring spoons, an empty box, or a leaf.
Everything
is new and interesting to a baby, and if you open your
eyes to
the many wonders in our world, you’ll see that you don’t
have to
spend a fortune to keep your baby happy, interested, and
learning.
What
“home-grown” toys are best?
As you
view the whole world as a bottomless toybox, here are some
tips to
consider:
• Search
for items of different weights, materials, textures,
flexibility,
sizes, shapes, colors, and smells. (Most store-bought
baby toys
are primary-colored plastic; that’s why your metal keys
on a
leather key ring are so very appealing they’re different!)
• Babies
are generalists. Your little one will apply what he learns
from one
object to any other that is similar. Therefore, don’t
give him
an old book or magazine to scribble in unless you want
all of
your books to be potential notepads. A sealed bottle may
look fun,
but your baby may then think he can play with your pill
bottles.

Nursery decor
A nursery is usually, in American connotations, a bedroom within a house or other dwelling set aside for an infant or toddler. A typical nursery would contain a crib (or similar type of bed), a table or platform for the purpose of changing diapers (also known as a changing table), as well as various items required for the care of the child (such as baby powder and medicine).Especially, nursery decor must be beautiful and dynamic such as Giant Spring Flower Garden & Tree Baby,Pretty Princess Bedroom Colorful treeButterfly Owls Birds Around Tree , disney pricess...REVIEW MORE
A nursery is generally designated for the smallest bedroom in the house, as a baby requires very little space until at least walking age; the premise being that the room is used almost exclusively for sleep. However, the room in many cases could remain the bedroom of the child well into his or her teenageyears, or until a younger sibling is born, and the parents decide to move the older child into another larger bedroom, if one should be available.
I would love to share to you all much information about nursing decor to make a great room for your kids.....
